About

Mackenzie Michalczuk

Hi, I’m Mackenzie
I’m a Registered Dietitian dedicated to helping you heal your relationship with food by exploring its roots, how it shows up in your life, and the path forward that’s right for you.

My Journey
I studied Human Nutrition at the University of Guelph, where I completed my undergraduate and master’s degrees. Over the past five years, I’ve worked as a Registered Dietitian in hospital settings, including eating disorder programs, general medicine, and oncology. Currently, I am working in post-secondary education, leading eating disorder programming on campus. This area of work is especially meaningful to me; I love helping people regain the capacity for life when their eating disorder is no longer at the center.

My Approach
I start by learning your story because every eating disorder is different, and often rooted in deeper struggles or life experiences. Together, we look beneath food behaviours to understand what the eating disorder may be protecting you from, and explore healthier ways to cope. Early on, I provide structure to help re-train hunger cues and show what normalized eating can feel like. As your confidence grows, we gradually build flexibility and move toward intuitive eating. My goal is to help you understand your body’s unique needs and find a path forward that feels realistic and sustainable.
